The Service Parts Manager will oversee and optimize the availability, distribution, and technical support for Truck Wings service parts. This role is responsible for managing service parts inventory, ensuring timely shipping, providing exceptional customer support, and assisting with prototype and demo product builds. This is a key role that bridges operational efficiency with outstanding customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, technical environment.

This role requires working in an office and warehouse environment (not hybrid or remote) at Con Met's corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington. Non-local candidates must be open to relocation (relocation assistance available).

Key Duties:

Manage service parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.

Ensure prompt and efficient shipping of service parts to customers.

Develop and maintain internal and external reporting on inventory, shipping performance, and customer feedback.

Provide technical support to customers, helping them identify the parts they need based on field issues.

Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve service-related inquiries.

Assist engineering teams with prototype and demo product builds.

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and logistics teams to align service parts availability with customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred, and a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in inventory management, logistics, or service parts management (preferably in the Class 8 trucking industry) required. However, candidates without a bachelor’s degree and having a minimum of 5 years’ equivalent service parts management work experience will be considered.

Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic components.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.

Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP), inventory tracking software, and reporting tools.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the trucking or heavy equipment industry.

Hands-on experience with prototype or demo product builds.
