Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $20–$23 per hour
About the RoleJoin our Finishing Department as a Coatings Helper, where you’ll operate a powder coating spray system to apply durable, weather‑resistant finishes primarily on steel components. You’ll also ensure proper curing and hardness through controlled baking processes.
Key Responsibilities- Apply outdoor/weatherproof coatings using a powder coating spray system.
- Bake parts to achieve the required finish hardness.
- Support additional shop tasks, including blueprint reading, drilling, sawing, and woodworking.
- Hands‑on experience with powder coating and painting.
- Familiarity with wet paint spray systems.
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with drilling, sawing, and woodworking.

Work EnvironmentYou’ll work in a dynamic manufacturing setting producing items such as park benches, playground equipment, fitness gear, slides, and trash receptacles for clients nationwide. The shop is open‑air and subject to seasonal temperature changes—cool in winter, warm in summer.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
