The Equipment Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance on equipment used in manufacturing silicon wafers. Performs electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.

May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.

• Troubleshoot and repair of manufacturing equipment used in silicon wafer manufacturing.
• Use test equipment to diagnose equipment failures.
• Perform equipment preventative maintenance as required.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
• Recognize and recommend machine improvements based on failures.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineer.
• Use MMS (Maintenance Management System) to record repairs, parts and labor hours.
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with employees and leadership staff throughout the company.
• Follow all Employment, Standards of Conduct, Site Services, Safety, and Quality policies.
• Adhere to SEHA Guiding Principles and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Will perform other projects and tasks, as directed.
