AZAD is seeking a Cath Lab Technician for a W2 Contract position in Morristown, New Jersey.
Schedule3 days a week, 8am - 8:30pm, with on‑call 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend a month. Does NOT have to float.
Assignment Duration13‑week initial assignment with a probability of extension.
Compensation & BenefitsHourly rate $29.00–$33.50 with daily stipends; $143 lodging and $80 meals & incidentals for non‑local candidates. Local hourly rate $50.00–$55.00. Benefits include co‑paid medical, dental, vision insurance, cafeteria plan, 401k.
Essential FunctionsPrepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology. Monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data. Provide procedural assistance to physician pre, intra and post procedure. Assess and manage access site and inform physician. Adhere to on‑call protocol for Cath lab. Prepare patient for procedures.
Minimum Qualifications- Licensed Radiologic Technologist
- RCIS certification preferred
- BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required
- 2 years cardiac cath lab experience
- The primary vaccine series plus at least one booster
- The Bivalent COVID vaccine that was first offered in September 2023
- The 2023‑2024 Monovalent COVID vaccine
