Position Overview

Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking a Contract RN, Oncology for a W2 Contract position based in Los Angeles, CA.

Schedule: 3 12's, Night shift

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Compensation: This position offers an hourly rate of $37 to $41 which equates to $1,332 to $1,475 per week (based on a 5-day workweek). Per Diems:
Lodging: $191 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day. Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,939 per week.

Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems): Between $3,271 to $3,414 per week.

Delivers specialized, compassionate care to adult oncology patients in a fast‑paced inpatient setting. Will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering chemotherapy and supportive treatments, and collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.

A strong emphasis is placed on patient education, symptom management, and emotional support throughout the continuum of cancer care. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical excellence in oncology, exceptional critical‑thinking skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, culturally sensitive care within Kaiser Permanente’s integrated model.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care tailored to oncology patients.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and patient/family education.
• Ensure documentation aligns with current assessment data, patient acuity, and cultural considerations.
• Act as a clinical leader, applying the nursing process to deliver high‑quality oncology care.

• Minimum 1–2 years of oncology nursing experience required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
