Clinical Nurse Leader - Emergency Services

Position: Full-time

Job Description: A successful CNL on our team will lead transformational patient care delivery by providing coaching, mentorship, and education for the Emergency Department nursing team. The CNL will be a catalyst for improving the quality and safety of patient care and will work at the point of care to transfer knowledge and manage patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of Emergency Nursing clinical experience
• One year of progressively responsible leadership experience
• Current Washington RN license or ability to obtain by date of hire
• BLS and ACLS certification by date of hire
• Master’s Degree in Nursing with emphasis on the Clinical Nurse Leader role
• Strongly preferred:
  Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification

Essential Functions:

Candidate Details:

• 2+ to 5 years of experience
• Master's Degree required

Skills and Certifications:

• MSN with emphasis on the Clinical Nurse Leader role
• Ability to obtain Washington RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Clinical Nurse Leader certification
• Minimum of 5 years clinical nurse experience in the Emergency Department
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nurse experience in an inpatient hospital setting
• 1 year of progressively responsible leadership experience
• RN background in Emergency Medicine

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have CNL certification, at least five years of Emergency Nursing experience, and one year of progressively responsible leadership experience.
