Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking an Interim Home Health Nurse Supervisor for a W2 Contract position based in Oakland, CA.

Schedule: Full time, 5 8's Days, 8:30am-5pm

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly rate of $53.75 to $56.25 which equates to $2,150.00 to $2,250.00 per week (based on a 5-day workweek). Position qualifies OT, DT and compensation for on-call.

Per Diems:
Lodging: $145 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $92 per day

Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,659 per week

Auto Stipend: $25 per day

Auto Stipend is paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $175 per week

Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems + Auto Stipend):
Between $3,984.00 to $4,084.00 per week

Summary:

Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home health unit, ensure high-quality patient care and efficient resource management. This includes supervising staff, implementing best practices, and coordinating patient care delivery.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversee the work of nurses and other healthcare professionals within the home health unit, including scheduling, performance management, and providing guidance and support.
  • Ensuring that patient care is delivered according to established standards, protocols, and best practices, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the efficient allocation and utilization of resources, such as staffing, supplies, and equipment, within the home health unit.
  • Facilitate the coordination of patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and patient-centered care.
  • Assist in the implementation and adherence to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations within the home health unit.
  • Participate in the orientation and ongoing training of new staff members and ensuring staff competency.
Qualifications:
  • Active California Registered Nurse License.
  • 3 years of clinical experience in home health or related area, with at least 1 year of experience functioning in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and manage staff, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
