RN (Part Time) - PACE at Providence Health and Services summary:
The part-time Registered Nurse (RN) at Providence PACE provides and supervises professional nursing care for elderly patients, promoting health and independence through community-based clinics and home visits. The role requires adherence to nursing standards and licensure in Oregon, with a focus on delivering comprehensive care to vulnerable older adults. The position includes rotating weekend shifts and offers a robust benefits package within a supportive healthcare organization.
Description
This position will be working 32 hour a week at our Gresham facility.
The Community Care RN provides and supervises professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients. Care is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act. Applies knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients‘ optimal health and independence. All Providence professional nursing practice requires a broad range of general nursing knowledge and expertise.

In addition, development and validation of knowledge and skills essential to the assigned department, patient population and/or practice area are crucial. This position may be required to rotate through a weekend shift.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire:
Oregon Registered Nurse License.

• Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing.

• 1 year Home health RN experience.
