• Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist customers with loading bags into vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to proper shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills, collect trash inside the store and parking lot; maintain clean interior and exterior areas.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Apply safety programs; identify unsafe conditions and report to management.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and notify the appropriate department or manager for repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment; answer product questions.
• Follow all local, state, federal laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a nonconfrontational manner.
• Exhibit honesty and integrity when handling customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
