Job Summary
The Retail Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overall store effectiveness and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong customer service skills, talent management, coaching, and performance management. The Manager will train, develop, and lead full‑time and part‑time Mobile Advisors and ensure all employees are fully trained and motivated.
Compensation
Wage: $20.50–$23.50 per hour + uncapped commission. Hours range from 30 to 39 per week (average 35 hours) as a modified full‑time position.
Essential Functions- Manage all aspects of in‑store execution: staffing, shift scheduling, customer engagement, sales, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Establish and maintain critical relationships with senior store and field leadership.
- Promote strong relationships with the in‑store team and field leadership to ensure continuous communication and adoption of directives.
- Ensure employee satisfaction through progressive employee engagement.
- Manage performance in store to achieve all sales and customer service objectives.
- Collaborate with senior store and field sales leadership to achieve company objectives.
- Participate in regular senior store leadership meetings.
- Provide regular reports to senior store leadership.
- Complete all required sales training personally and ensure all employees are fully trained at all times.
- Provide feedback on current store performance, develop action plans, and ensure execution.
- Directly coach and train sales representatives within the store.
- High School Diploma required.
- 3–5 years of training, sales, account management, or related experience; 2+ years of retail management experience required in the wireless industry.
- Specialty Retail or Big Box management experience required.
- Proven record as a leader and department or store manager.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High level of business acumen.
- Ability to train and develop subordinates.
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel when required.
- Proven self‑starter.
- Ability to incent and drive sales reps to perform and deliver client expectations.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Job Requirements
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, and moving items.
- Ability to move around the store, assist customers, and maneuver merchandise when necessary.

Pay& Benefits Data
Minimum Salary: $44,100
Maximum Salary: $57,750
Compensation reflects anticipated base salary based on current national data; minimums and maximums may vary by location.
