NOW HIRING - We have IMMDEDIATE Openings! Schedule an interview today. IPS is seeking qualified and professional security officer candidates for future positions in the Seattle, Washington area. Armed Security Officers with law enforcement and military experience are encouraged to apply.

Applicants MUST meet all of the following minimal conditions.

Full time and Part time positions available.

• Conduct patrols and investigation of client property by assigned patrol vehicle or foot patrol.
• Respond safely to client alarm activations, calls for service, escorts, etc.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards, water hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Be able to write concise and accurate reports with proper spelling and grammar.
• Report criminal or suspicious activity to local law enforcement.

• Preferred but not required: prior military or law enforcement experience.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be either a United States citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Must not have been convicted of, or pled guilty or nolo contend ere to, a criminal offense that would exclude you from obtaining/maintaining a Security Guard License.
• Ability to speak and write in English with clarity and proper grammar and spelling.
• Clean driving record. Driver history as a condition of employment.
• Must currently hold a valid Washington Guard Card and Exposed Firearm permit. If Taser certified, must submit proof of training.
