Field Technician, Locator – Heath Consultants Incorporated

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team of utility locators. This role focuses on safely locating underground gas lines, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing quality field service.

Pay Range
  • $20.00 /hr – $25.00 /hr (Base pay)
Responsibilities
  • Locate and mark underground gas lines using specialized equipment.
  • Complete field reports and communicate with homeowners.
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with federal and local regulations.
  • Manage the use of advanced detection equipment.
  • Report any hazardous conditions and assist with site safety.
Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions, walking 4–7 miles.
  • Lift up to 25 lb.
  • Perform bending, kneeling, and lifting tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
  • Pass DOT drug screen and background check.
  • Customer‑service experience is a plus.
