Touchmark at Fairway Village is Southwest Washington's premier retirement community. Our goal is to enrich the lives of residents and off‑campus clients by providing them with exceptional service in the comfort of their own homes. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Building Services Technician. Pay ranges from $24.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience. The position requires 40 hours a week — four ten‑hour shifts — Wednesday through Saturday.
Qualifications & Skills- High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong ability to efficiently assess and prioritize daily work orders while maintaining high‑quality standards and exemplary customer service.
- “Jack of all trades” skillset with knowledge in:
- Plumbing
- Electrical work
- Carpentry
- Cable box setups/IT
- Support maintenance needs for 287 homes on an 18‑acre property, plus several additional buildings.
- Perform general building services tasks, including:
- Moving furniture
- General maintenance and repairs
- Basic electrical work and IT
- Painting, carpentry, drywall repair
- Responding to plumbing or equipment-related HVAC emergencies
- Experience working with older adults is helpful.
- Positive attitude, team‑oriented mindset, and energetic approach.
