About this Role

IMMEDIATE HIRE - FLEXIBILITY TO TRAVEL AS NECESSARY

Robinson Brothers Construction, LLC is seeking a skilled and adaptable Mechanic who is ready to take on hands‑on work and travel for field assignments, ensuring our equipment stays in peak condition wherever the job takes you.

This position is based out of Vancouver, WA, but must be willing to travel as our contracts span the Pacific Northwest and the West Coast, encompassing the western states and beyond.

Travel position - We prioritize local assignments that enable our team to return home each night, while remaining flexible and ready to pursue opportunities wherever the job market takes us.

A Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining any type of diesel engine, as well as testing, diagnosing, repairing and cleaning diesel motors and the mechanical parts of trucks, such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes, heavy equipment included.

What You’ll Do
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair trucks and heavy equipment
  • Perform engine repairs and maintenance
  • Welding on heavy equipment and vehicles
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair transmission systems
  • Make necessary repairs to hydraulic and air brakes
  • Make electrical repairs
  • Perform oil changes as needed
  • Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment
  • Routine Maintenance
  • Ability to travel for field assignments
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Diesel Mechanic Certified
  • CDL (preferred)
  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical repairs
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency with tools
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Self‑starter
  • Analytical
  • Must be willing to travel

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $35.00/Hr.

- USD $40.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
