Senior​/Lead​/Principal Node.js Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior/Lead/Principal Node.js (back-end JavaScript) Software Engineer join our innovative technology team at Trend Capital. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in making platforms highly usable and thoroughly enjoyable for our clients and partners. Being self motivated, creative and a problem solver while maintaining a top quality level of code will ensure success in this role.

• Clean, modular code
• Integration and end-to-end testing

• Familiarity with Node.js / Java Script
• 2+ years of experience with Type Script (or similar statically typed language)
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 2+ years of experience with NestJS (or similar Rails-like framework in any statically typed language)
• 2+ years of experience developing Graph
  
  QL or RESTful APIs
• Database design and implementation skills (Postgre
  
  SQL or similar)
• Strong understanding of active record or data mapper ORM (or similar)
• Strong understanding of dependency injection, mocking, and testing code
• Experience integrating with APIs (Graph
  
  QL/REST)
• Attention to detail with complex projects and time-sensitive materials
• Git
• Must be able to speak and write fluent English

Accredited Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred but not required) or equivalent demonstrated work experience
