Senior Software Engineer

This is a remote role from anywhere in Canada.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be delivering new features and capabilities to one of our SaaS products for our Power division. You can learn more about NEOGOV’s Power products here:

• 100% of the time you will be involved with hands on development, implementation, troubleshooting and focus on architecture & design, planning
• Be a role model for design reviews, code and test cases
• Leverage AI tools for efficient delivery of high-quality products
• Write clean code with Unit and Integration tests
• Collaborate with product, project & design teams in the planning of work
• Work closely with engineering partners and stakeholders to drive organizational alignment

• Strong problem solver with excellent communication skills

• Leader and mentor with interest to help others on the team

• 6+ years of professional experience in developing Web Applications using C#, .NET, SQL, and Cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.

• Experience with AWS, Angular, Graph
  
  QL, and Postgre
  
  SQL.
• Experience with Machine Comprehension Platform (MCP) and Agentic AI workflows.
• Familiarity with coding agents, such as Claude Code or Copilot.

• Experience with Dev Ops tools;
  Spaceport or Github Actions + Terraform is preferred.
