Job Description
We are looking to bring on a qualified Class A Driver to our client’s team. In this role, you will be operating flatbeds and tractor-trailers, making local deliveries of commercial equipment and other materials. This is a regional position where overnight travel will be required throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho however a majority of the work will be local in the Portland / Vancouver area.
This is a direct-hire position.
Compensation: $25 - $30/hr, DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm, schedule varies with OTR as needed
Location: Vancouver, WA
Responsibilities:
- Operate a flatbed or a tractor-trailer to make deliveries (48 ft Flatbed, 53 ft dry van trailer)
- Strap equipment securely to flatbed
- Deliver units to job sites (very little loading involved)
- Pick up materials on an as‑needed basis
Requirements:
- This position has been deemed safety sensitive by the DOT and as a result, requires passing a drug screen that includes testing for THC
- At least 2 years of Class A Driving experience required
- Have a current DOT Med Card
- Be comfortable with occasional touch freight
- Have a current and valid Class A CDL
