Class A Driver

Job Description

We are looking to bring on a qualified Class A Driver to our client’s team. In this role, you will be operating flatbeds and tractor-trailers, making local deliveries of commercial equipment and other materials. This is a regional position where overnight travel will be required throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho however a majority of the work will be local in the Portland / Vancouver area.

This is a direct-hire position.

Compensation: $25 - $30/hr, DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm, schedule varies with OTR as needed

Location: Vancouver, WA

Responsibilities:

• Operate a flatbed or a tractor-trailer to make deliveries (48 ft Flatbed, 53 ft dry van trailer)
• Strap equipment securely to flatbed
• Deliver units to job sites (very little loading involved)
• Pick up materials on an as‑needed basis

Requirements:

• This position has been deemed safety sensitive by the DOT and as a result, requires passing a drug screen that includes testing for THC
• At least 2 years of Class A Driving experience required
• Have a current DOT Med Card
• Be comfortable with occasional touch freight
• Have a current and valid Class A CDL
