Summary
This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of planning with warehouse operations, including forklift operation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling both planning and warehouse tasks efficiently and independently.
Planning Responsibilities- Generate and maintain work orders in coordination with purchasing and assembly.
- Manage shortage reports and communicate internally.
- Evaluate demand forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly.
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Expand and enhance the position to contribute to growth of the team.
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and organize products in the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.)
- ERP Software (M3 preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Prior experience with inventory control and optimization.
- Proven experience as a Planner or in a similar planning role.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in both planning and warehouse tasks.
- Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift desirable.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to forklift operation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 20 lbs.
- Superior attention to detail.
- High school Diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of experience.
