L2 Floor Coordinator

Position Summary Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between Cells and Department by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reviews production schedules and related information. Communicates with Cell / Shift Leads to determine material requirements.

Provides in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules

Remove production product press area.

Full or partial boxes, pallets, supplies, foam, layer board, dividers, kraft paper, polybags, and/or component parts.

Verify all finished product has manufacturing label.

Return all supplies to stocking aisle.

Remove un-needed pallets to staging area.

Stocking Aisle and Staging Area to be organized and swept each shift.

Provides relief for press operators during breaks and lunch periods.

Essential Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.

Good work ethic.
6 months to 2 years of related experience and / or training.

Licenses, credentials, and certifications

Valid Forklift certification

Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Comfort in relating to all levels of management and diversity of personalities

Advanced attention to detail and accuracy in all work Intermediate ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences

Intermediate ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; intermediate ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reaction Time — The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.

Static Strength — The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects

Trunk Strength — The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.

Operation Monitoring — Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material — Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Work Environment – Work environment is usually loud.

Tools and Equipment – Scanner, company issued knives / cutters, electric and hand pallet jacks, mechanical hand tools.
