Business Development Specialist / Sales Development Representative
Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $52,000.00/yr

We're seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our growing B2B manufacturing sales team. This role offers hands‑on experience with real responsibility, the chance to develop your sales skills, and direct exposure to manufacturing customers in aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and commercial sectors. You'll focus primarily on generating and advancing sales opportunities while supporting marketing initiatives. Leadership will provide guidance, but you'll own your outreach, follow‑up, and pipeline.
This is an ideal role for someone comfortable with technology, organized, and excited to learn B2B sales from the ground up.
- Research and identify target companies and decision-makers
- Execute daily outbound outreach via email, Linked In, and phone
- Write concise, engaging messages to sourcing managers, supply chain leaders, and engineers
- Qualify prospects and schedule introductory meetings
- Track activity, notes, and follow-ups in the CRM
- Drive opportunities from initial outreach through booked meetings, collaborating with leadership while maintaining ownership of follow‑up and pipeline
- Assist with digital advertising campaigns and performance tracking
- Make basic website updates (pages, images, service descriptions) using Word Press
- Support landing page improvements for clarity and conversion
- Track website traffic and inbound lead sources
- Assist with Linked In posting and company visibility efforts
- Marketing or Business degree preferred
- Recent college graduates (last few years) encouraged to apply
- Comfortable using modern software and digital tools
- Familiarity with CRM systems and structured follow‑up processes
- Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented
- Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn
- Strong communication skills with professional and technical audiences
- B2B sales or marketing experience
- Exposure to manufacturing or engineering environments
- Experience with Word Press, digital ads, or SEO basics
- Consistent outbound activity and prospect engagement
- Qualified meetings scheduled
- Opportunities added to the pipeline
- Improved inbound visibility and lead quality
Strong performance in this role can lead to advancement into Account Manager or Business Development roles.
