HVAC Installation Technician

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience, or combination of education and experience
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computer (Smartphone, iPad)

• Installation of light commercial rooftop units, curb adapters, split systems and ducting
• Reconnect gas and electric to new equipment

• Basic understanding of hand and power tools and safe use
• Basic understanding of operation, service and maintenance of standard light commercial HVAC systems
• Follow instructions and complete work in a timely manner
• Soldering and brazing ability
• Recover refrigerant charge from refrigeration circuit
• Read and comprehend basic blueprints
• Basic sheet metal skills
• Communicate and work well with co-workers and customers
• Take pride in work and attention to detail
• Mechanical problem solving ability
• Team player and support others when needed

• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
• Ability to climb and negotiate ladders and scaffolds
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
