Logistics Specialist

Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Logistics Specialist I to join our client’s team in Vandalia, OH. Our client is a leading firm in the aerospace and defense industry. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to work on critical logistics documentation and support the efficient flow of materials for important projects.

• Assist with the preparation of logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals for deployment and stocking.
• Support routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
• Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation in storage facilities.
• Learn and apply applicable state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education. A higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with inventory and supply chain/logistics principles and techniques (preferred).
• Experience with shipping databases such as Fed Ex, DHL, or UPS (preferred).
• Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems (preferred).
• Ability to operate a forklift (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
