Purpose:

The Branch Operations Coordinator Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the branch warehouse. Daily duties include the loading and unloading of trailers and Commercial Motor Vehicles, handling waste containers of varying weights and sizes using CC-approved material handling equipment, and keeping the branch warehouse clean and organized. This role may require the use of forklifts, powered pallet jacks, hand jacks and dollies.

• Engage in and promote safe work behaviors in alignment with CC safety guidelines
• Load and unload box trucks
• Organize, clean and maintain warehouse and office
• Move trucks on company property
• Maintain inventory
• Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including environmental, regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments
• Ability to operate equipment such as electronic devices, computers, hoses, and all truck equipment
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Forklift certification preferred
• Motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets CC’s published standards, including but not limited to
• Seat belt and cell phone violations
• Excessive speeding
• DUI, suspension and/or multiple vehicle collisions

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include a respirator, steel-toe boots, gloves, uniform, safety glasses, reflective vest, and hard hats

• Frequent lifting of materials that typically weigh 54-80 lbs
• Frequent pushing/pulling of 16-55 gallon drums of waste/product using CC-approved equipment; drum weight varies and may exceed 400 lbs
• All applicants must pass the pre-employment physical including drug and alcohol screening

The anticipated hourly pay for this position is $19.50 and includes benefits such as:
