Job Purpose:

To support and deliver high-quality hands-on clinical education through skill labs and simulation rooms by planning, coordinating, and executing academic workshops, CME programs, and structured fellowship training, while ensuring safe operation, optimal utilization, and compliance of all simulation and lab resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Programs & Hands-on Training Support

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of academic workshops, CME programs, and clinical skill-building sessions.

• Provide hands-on technical guidance to participants and fellows during academic programs, simulations, and lab-based training.

• Facilitate experiential learning activities aligned with Centre of Excellence (COE) and fellowship objectives.

2. Skill Lab & Simulation Operations

• Operate and manage skill labs, simulation rooms, simulators, and training equipment, ensuring readiness, safety, and optimal utilization.

• Prepare simulation setups for workshops, fellowships, and advanced practical sessions.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, SOPs, and institutional guidelines during all training activities.

3. Clinical Demonstration & Fellowship Support

• Demonstrate clinical techniques, procedural workflows, and best practices aligned with academic and fellowship frameworks.

• Support structured assessments, skill evaluations, and performance tracking for fellowship participants.

• Assist faculty and trainers during advanced procedural demonstrations and simulation-based learning.

4. Training Coordination & Documentation

• Track, document, and report fellowship training activities, attendance records, and performance metrics.

• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation for participants, fellows, and faculty.

• Maintain accurate records of training programs, equipment usage, and lab activities.

5. Equipment, Instruments & Resource Management

• Manage medical devices, instruments, simulators, and studio resources, ensuring proper handling, availability, and compliance.

• Monitor inventory levels and support maintenance, calibration, and replacement of training equipment.

• Ensure efficient utilization of lab resources in line with compliance and governance requirements.

Qualifications and

Experience:



B.Sc / M.Sc in Nursing, or qualification as a Lab Technician or related clinical science background.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in skill labs, simulation-based training, clinical education, or hands-on healthcare training environments.

• Experience working in academic institutes, hospitals, training centres, or medical education academies is preferred.

Skills and

Competencies:

• Proven experience in planning and executing academic workshops, CME programs, and hands-on clinical training.

• Strong technical expertise in operating skill labs, simulators, and training equipment.

• Ability to deliver procedural demonstrations, experiential learning, and structured fellowship assessments.

• Strong coordination, documentation, and performance-tracking skills.

• High attention to detail with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality.

Effective communication skills and comfort working closely with faculty, fellows, and clinical teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Quality and effectiveness of hands-on training and simulation sessions

• Readiness, safety, and utilization of skill lab and simulation resources

• Accuracy and timeliness of training documentation and reporting

• Fellowship participant engagement and skill progression
