Engineering Manager for Manufacturing Optimization

In this role, you will manage the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure innovative solutions are implemented effectively within the production of high-power transformers in Varennes. Your responsibilities will span project management, resource planning, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork while emphasizing safety and customer-centric approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structure and lead a team of engineers and technicians

• Ensure production optimization aligning with safety and quality standards

• Manage resource planning, project workload, and prioritization

• Monitor and assess project budgets, timelines, and deliverables

• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma)
Requirements:

• Degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering

• Active member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec

• 10-15 years of manufacturing experience; 2-3 years of team management

• Proficient in project management and problem-solving abilities

• Bilingual with skills in both French and English
