In this pivotal role, you will provide technical leadership for equipment and tooling projects, ensuring they are designed efficiently and meet stringent industry standards. You’ll leverage your expertise gained from 10-12 years in heavy mechanical projects, guiding a mechanical designer and coordinating interdepartmental activities. Ensure all design choices align with compliance mandates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the technical design and execution of projects

• Validate design choices against requirements and standards

• Conduct comprehensive design reviews throughout the project lifecycle

• Approve engineering plans, calculations, and specifications

• Collaborate across mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and installation phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• OIQ member in good standing

• 10-12 years of experience in heavy industrial settings

• Mastery of Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor software

• Functional proficiency in French and English (technical)
