Canadian Public accounting experience required.

Responsibilities include:

• planning, execution and completion of compilation and review engagements for owner‑managed businesses
• preparation of tax returns – corporate, personal, trust and not for profit
• mentoring and training junior team members
• investment accounting
• providing clients with technical support
• corresponding with CRA
• direct report to partners

Qualifications required:

• CPA designation with minimum 2‑3 years Canadian post‑qualification experience
• Experience in ASPE assurance work, with up‑to‑date knowledge of tax compliance for owner‑managed clients
• Strong technical expertise in accounting and professional standards
• Working knowledge of Case Ware, Case View, Profile, and Quick Books Desktop/Online
• Providing hands‑on support to clients and junior staff
• Team player, self‑motivated, well organized and efficient, ability to work independently
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills between clients, staff and government agencies

Vehicle required for travel to client’s premises.
