Position: Experienced Accountant for Travel Industry
Make an impact as an Accountant in a well-known travel agency based in Vaughan, ON. This full-time role is focused on compliance and financial data management in the travel sector.

We are on the lookout for a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant with at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly within travel. Your responsibilities will include overseeing accounts, payroll, and ensuring accurate financial entries. While knowledge of Trams Accounting is a bonus, it is not mandatory for application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial transactions and maintain records

• Establish and manage comprehensive accounting policies

• Reconcile financial entries and verify accounts

• Generate insightful financial reports for analysis

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• Proficient in accounting systems, including TRAMS

• Expert level in Excel and Microsoft Office suite

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
