Accounting Manager for NPO

Position: Contract Accounting Manager for NPO
Lead essential accounting operations for a non-profit as a Contract Accounting Manager for six months. Ensure accuracy and compliance across financial processes while managing a dedicated team.

This role focuses on overseeing the full spectrum of accounting functions, including ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, and annual audits. Candidates should have a strong foundation in NPO accounting, with proven team leadership and experience with budgeting. You will play a critical role in contributing to the organization’s financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct core accounting operations and internal controls

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and analyses

• Manage audits and oversee government tax reporting

• Optimize cash flow and manage budget processes

• Train and evaluate the accounting team effectively

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience in NPO accounting

• Supervisory experience related to AP, AR, GL

• Experience with large ERP systems;
Sage 300 preferred

• Desirable CPA, CMA, or CGA certification

• Strong adaptability and willingness to learn
