** Junior Accountant
** to join its finance team in a full-time, permanent position.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting and financial operations.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
* Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records
* Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as required
* Support inventory accounting activities, including reconciliations, analysis, and reporting
* Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer account maintenance
* Process accounts payable transactions, vendor payments, and related reconciliation
* Assist with indirect tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements
* Support external audits by preparing schedules and providing requested documentation
* Contribute to process improvements and assist with various accounting and finance projects as needed
** Qualification
* ** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Progress toward a professional accounting designation is considered an asset
* Previous accounting experience preferred; experience in a product-based, distribution, or manufacturing environment is beneficial
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting/ERP systems
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and the financial reporting process
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
* Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
