Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all financial accounts.
Prepare journal entries, general ledger postings, and month‑end reports.
Assist in payroll preparation and submission.
Support financial audits and provide documentation as needed.
Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
Skills and Experience:
Bookkeeping
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, ideally within a fast‑paced environment.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (such as Quick Books, Sage, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments.
Education:
Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Extra Consideration will be given to those who have experience with:
Full‑Cycle Bookkeeping, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Invoicing, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
