Lead Accounting Manager

Position: Lead Accounting Manager at Make Space

We are seeking a proactive Accounting Manager to enhance our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, you'll leverage your accounting expertise and strategic vision to support operations and executive leadership. In this position, collaborate with facility managers and provide insights on financial data to improve operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for entities

• Review journal entries and approve balance sheet reconciliations

• Lead financial reporting cycles with variance commentary

• Strengthen internal control procedures and accounting processes

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and coordinate audits

Requirements:

• CPA designation or nearing completion required

• 5+ years in accounting, including 2 years in a supervisory role

• Experience in multi-entity environments preferred

• Proficiency in Quick Books or Net Suite essential

• French proficiency is a plus
