Join a national importer of residential furniture as a Junior Accounts Associate. This role focuses on accounts payable and receivable, emphasizing EDI and accurate data management.

This position requires an individual with a minimum of three years' experience in accounts payable and receivable. You will be responsible for matching vendor invoices, posting payments and managing customer accounts. Strong communication skills are crucial, especially when handling collections through a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Match, code, and post vendor invoices accurately

• Review and verify vendor statements meticulously

• Process customer payments and initiate collections

• Track freight charges and confirm COD invoicing

• Run reports and maintain organized filing systems

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AP/AR and collections

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook

• Time management skills to meet tight deadlines

• College or University degree is an asset
