Senior Accountant

Our client, a well‑established boutique public accounting firm in Vaughan, Ontario, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team.

• Prepare compilation engagement financial statements
• Prepare corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returns
• Work directly with a portfolio of owner‑managed business clients
• Prepare year‑end working papers and supporting documentation
• Respond to client accounting and tax inquiries
• Collaborate with Partners on a variety of accounting and tax engagements
• Ensure engagements are completed accurately and on schedule

• Several years of Canadian public accounting experience
• Strong experience preparing compilation engagement financial statements
• Experience preparing corporate and personal tax returns
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and tax principles
• Excellent client service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines

• Experience with review engagements
• Experience preparing trust and partnership tax returns
• Experience with Case Ware, Case View, Taxprep, and Quick Books Online
• Excellent work‑life balance with very little overtime
