Senior Accountant

Accountant for an18-month contract opportunity, with potential for longer-term consideration.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys financial reporting, reconciliations, analysis, and working in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

• Prepare monthly and ad hoc journal entries
• Assist with internal and external financial reporting
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
• Support budget-to-actual analysis
• Assist with regulatory and compliance-related reporting
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements
• Support audit and review activities

• CPA designation or active progress toward completion strongly preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong IFRS 17 financial reporting knowledge
• Experience in a regulated or complex reporting environment preferably within Financial Services
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders

$80,000/Year
