Senior Accountant at Westlake

Assume key financial responsibilities as a Senior Accountant at Westlake, ensuring accurate financial reporting and controls in a manufacturing setting. Collaborate with plant managers to support continuous improvement initiatives.
In this senior role, you will oversee all plant accounting functions and engage with the Operations Manager and production staff to align financial objectives with business strategy. Your expertise will drive variance analysis and manage the P&L and balance sheet. Moreover, you will assist in compliance with corporate finance guidelines and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of the plant P&L and financial statements

• Execute month-end close duties including journal entries

• Prepare variance analysis and financial reports monthly

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP

• Facilitate audits and support management with cost-saving initiatives
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

• 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience

• CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree preferred

• Knowledge of SAP and operational accounting principles

• Strong analytical and communication skills
