- Oversee the review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting prepared by the team.
- Develop and maintain accounting procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial transactions and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial and performance reporting.
- Assess the financial and operational impact of key business activities and performance metrics.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support the review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Coordinate Finance's participation in annual business planning and renewal cycles, including data gathering and submission requirements.
- Manage technical accounting requirements for assigned portfolios and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits, as well as regulatory reviews.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and increased reporting efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA designation required
- Experience preparing complete financial statements and regulatory filings
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
$95,000 - $120,000 / year
