Payroll Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and oversee full-cycle union and non-union payroll operations. This will require you be on-site 5 days/week.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle union and non-union payroll processing.
• Lead and support the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll.
• Oversee timesheet audits, payroll adjustments, benefits, vacation payouts, deductions, and remittances.
• Manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Resolve complex employee and government payroll inquiries.
• Partner with HR and management on payroll-related matters.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Payroll, or a related field; CPA is an asset.
• 8–10+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong experience with unionized and high-volume payroll.
• Knowledge of Canadian and interprovincial payroll.
• ADP Workforce Now experience required;
  Jonas experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
