Bookkeeper

Transam Carriers is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in all financial records. This is a full-time position.

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial statements
• Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Handle invoicing, billing, and collection of payments
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Monitor company expenses
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Quick Books)
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
