In tax accounting services at PwC, you will assist businesses in preparing and reviewing tax provisions, tax returns, and financial statements, confirming compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

As a Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance Senior Associate,you’llworkin our Tax Line of serviceas part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing a variety of projects, including compilations, review engagements, and tax compliance engagements

Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personalstrengthsand address development areas

Delegate to others toprovidestretch opportunities, coaching them to deliver results

Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems

Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends

Experiences and skillsyou’lluse to solve

3 years of experience inamid-size accounting firmor public accounting

Bachelor sin accountingor ina similar firm

Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent reciprocal/recognized designation is considered anassetand PwC will give the necessary support

Hands-on experience in accounting and tax software such asTaxprepori Firm

Drafting financial statements including note disclosures

Experienced in review and compilation engagements

Understanding of ASPE accounting standards

Understanding of Canadian tax and ability to prepare tax returns for corporations,trustsand partnerships

Creativity in problem solving in today’s dynamic environment, bringing your perspectives to the stakeholders

Excellent client relationship management skills

This position ensures continuity and upholds our standards of excellence following the departure of a valued team member.

The salary range for this position is $53,600 - $89,300. The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary isdeterminedby your skills, experience,qualification sand work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
