Expand your career as a Full Cycle Accountant with an established firm based in Vaughan, Ontario. This permanent, full-time role requires expertise in month-end close and financial reporting.
Your role will involve supporting full-cycle accounting activities, ensuring month-end closes are completed accurately, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. You will assist in the preparation of financial statements while maintaining accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation. Opportunities for process improvements and accounting initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support full-cycle accounting activities throughout the month
• Complete month-end close tasks including journal entries
• Prepare and investigate balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in financial statement preparation and reporting
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and documentation
Requirements:
• 4-5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong experience in month-end close and reconciliations
• Proficient in Excel and ERP accounting systems
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Spanish language skills are an asset
