Our client:
An established organization based in Vaughan, Ontario.
- Support full-cycle accounting activities.
- Complete month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals and prepaids.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and monthly reporting.
- Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with process improvements and other accounting initiatives as required.
- Approximately 4-5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong full-cycle accounting and month-end close experience.
- Experience with journal entries, accruals, prepaids and reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment is an asset.
- Strong Excel and accounting/ERP systems experience.
- CPA designation or active pursuit is an asset, but not required.
- Spanish language skills are a strong asset.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
