Become a Cash Applications Specialist at ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions in Vaughan, Ontario. Work collaboratively to ensure customer payments are processed accurately and efficiently.
In this role, reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be integral to managing accounts receivable processes. Your responsibilities will include applying customer payments, reconciling cash receipts, and supporting internal and external inquiries. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be vital in maintaining financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately apply customer payments to accounts
• Investigate and resolve payment disputes and discrepancies
• Match payments to invoices through portals and bank data
• Support month-end closing activities and reconciliations
• Respond to payment-related inquiries professionally
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of two years in cash applications or AR
• Strong Excel skills and experience with JD Edwards is a plus
• Excellent communication abilities
• Detail-oriented and accountable mindset
