Position: Junior Accountant for Corporate Finance
Take on the role of Junior Accountant in our Finance team on a temporary 3-month contract. This position involves crucial accounting responsibilities, including journal entries and month-end close support.

As you report to the Financial Controller, this role is tailored for candidates with a foundational understanding of accounting principles. Whether you have 1-2 years of experience or are a recent graduate, you'll actively engage in accounts payable and receivable processes while mastering Microsoft Excel in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently

• Perform account and bank reconciliations accurately

• Help prepare financial documentation and reports

• Maintain organized financial records following company policy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting preferred

• Basic understanding of Canadian accounting standards

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel required

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
