Lead tax and accounting engagements at Doane Grant Thornton while advising privately held businesses through varied reporting frameworks and industries.
As a Senior Accountant in the Privately Held Business Group, you will solve real-world business problems and help clients thrive. Your work spans corporate and personal income tax returns, NTRs, compilations, and broader client financials. You will also contribute to business development, office planning, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead client engagements across reporting frameworks and industries
- Analyze and review corporate and personal income tax returns
- Review NTRs and compilations for client files
- Plan teams and maximize engagement profitability
- Coach, mentor, and manage accounting team performance
- CPA designation is a strong asset
- Three or more years in public accounting or related industry
- Strong focus on tax and accounting experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong scheduling, organizing, supervising, and team management skills
