Junior Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Build accounts receivable and collections expertise in Woodbridge, Ontario, using customer communication and payment tracking skills onsite during initial training.

This junior specialist supports an established transportation industry accounting team. You will manage customer accounts, follow up on overdue invoices, document payment commitments, and help resolve routine billing discrepancies. The position suits candidates with one to three years of accounts receivable, credit and collections, billing, or related accounting experience.

• Monitor assigned accounts and follow up on overdue invoices
• Make collection calls and send electronic payment reminders
• Record responses, commitments, and promised payment dates
• Review aging reports and prioritize account follow-ups
• Maintain accurate collection notes and customer records

• One to three years of related accounting experience
• Direct experience following up on customer payments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic accounts receivable and accounting principles knowledge
