Accounting Manager Financial Reporting

Lead financial reporting and general ledger activities as Accounting Manager at Oldcastle, working on-site from Oakville, Ontario. Support accurate closes, reconciliations, and compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this Accounting Manager shares responsibility across financial reporting areas. The position supports month-end close, SOX compliance, budgeting, and forecasting. It also oversees lease accounting, tax remittances, and Canadian financial information for CRH.

• Maintain financial reporting and general ledger structure knowledge
• Complete accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting
• Review and approve GST, HST, and QST remittances
• Coordinate Canadian internal audit information requests

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and five years of experience
• General accounting, finance, or cost accounting experience
• Experience with budgets, legal compliance, P&L, and SFAS rules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
