Lead detailed general ledger work through journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis as an Accountant at CAA Club Group.
In this accounting position, you will support responsible business units with timely reporting and help prepare consolidated statements. Your work includes investigating discrepancies, reviewing budget-to-actual variances, and delivering monthly or ad-hoc analysis. You will also support regulatory filings and external audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare timely monthly and ad-hoc journal entries
- Investigate discrepancies within complex balance sheet accounts
- Review significant budget-to-actual variances
- Perform monthly and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Support annual and interim external audits
- Relevant bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting
- Three to five years of significant accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent organization while meeting multiple tight deadlines
- Independent work capability with minimal supervision
