Accounts Payable Invoice Specialist

Process invoices and vendor payments at White Cap while applying account reconciliation and data verification skills in an indoor work environment.

The Accounts Payable Associate processes financial transactions and maintains account records under general supervision. Responsibilities include coding invoices, researching customer information, reconciling accounts, and preparing payment checks. The work supports timely invoice payments and acceptable customer service levels.

• Code invoices and accounts for accurate transaction processing
• Reconcile customer information and research account discrepancies
• Process vendor payments, expenses, and payment checks
• Monitor expense reports for policy exceptions or violations
• Scan invoices and route unresolved mail appropriately

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• Two to five years of relevant experience generally expected
• Specialized skills training or certification may be required
• Ability to follow defined policies and procedures
• Ability to refer complex problems to supervisors
