Bookkeeping expertise meets client payroll and tax remittances at Baker Tilly, in-person in Dresden, Ontario, with Excel and accounting software experience valued.
As a Bookkeeper, you will summarize client books and records while managing payroll, payables, receivables, expenses, and tax remittances. You will also help improve record-keeping and support the Bookkeeping Supervisor with vacation relief. This permanent, full-time position follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule, with Saturdays in April and Fridays off during at least July and August.
Key Responsibilities:- Summarize clients’ books and records
- Manage payroll, payables, receivables, expenses, and tax remittances
- Assist clients with improving record-keeping
- Provide vacation relief for bookkeeping staff
- Complete additional bookkeeping and administrative duties
- Take initiative as a self-starter
- Work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrate organization and communication skills
- Use Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Sage, or Quick Books
- Multitask, prioritize, and learn new software quickly
